Residental interior

The large-scale project of The Basil House starts with complete reconstruction of the three floor house which was designed and delivered as three separate apartments on each floor with total area of 290 m2. Our mission was to transform it into functional, elegant, bright space accommodating the lifestyle of family of three. As a way to unite the first floor into a common space, we have made constructional changes – removed partition walls and we opened up a relaxation zone to the porchway with а bigger windows. Open-library with a fireplace splits the space into two – kitchen with dining area from the zones for chill out. Behind the wallpaper door of the TV library, we provided access to a bathroom which serves this floor. We emphasised on soft tones with spot-light sofas, classic elements of the kitchen for more elegant look, lighting and alluring accent of the space – dining table. On the second floor we have arranged all bedrooms and a work room. Our main intervention was in the master bedroom where we have build additional bathroom (en-suit). We built-in large wardrobes for more storage space, a fireplace for cosy nights, and a favourite reading spot. The main highlight is the back of the bedroom built with attention to detail. The third floor was a challenge – transforming under-roof area into large terrace with a dreamy view to Vitosha Mountain.The loft space is creating to welcoming guests and having more space for entertaining. We provided a kitchen corner and transformed niches to additional storage space hidden behind paneling and wallpaper doors.
